I have 26mm calipers, I recently purchased some 30mm ones for up front. My rear pads and rotors are in need of being replaced in the near future, but should I hold out and get 30mm rear calipers? Most people don't upgrade their rear rotors (besides slotted/drilled), and the biggest negative I think is that I don't have the option of getting slotted / drilled, which for me would just about be only an aesthetic thing because the car has yet to see any track time (not that I wouldn't go given the opportunity!). Also, as I understand it, the rears don't quite put down the performance that warrants getting an upgraded rotor from OEM.
So someone sell me on a solid reason why I should be considering getting 30mm rear calipers
